Teabie ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use Teabie, including wardrobe scanning, outfit planning, AI recommendations, virtual try-on, subscriptions, notifications, and support.
1. Information We Store
1.1 Account Information
When you sign in, we may store account identifiers, email address, username, display name, profile settings, authentication tokens, subscription tier, AI credit balance, and related account metadata.
1.2 Wardrobe, Outfit, And Profile Content
We store the photos and information you choose to upload or create in the app, such as wardrobe item images, item categories, colors, brands, outfit compositions, calendar entries, uploaded outfit references, avatar photos, body photos, face references, try-on results, and style profile preferences.
1.3 AI Processing Data
To power wardrobe cutouts, item classification, style recommendations, onboarding summaries, and virtual try-on previews, we may process uploaded images, generated images, style preferences, and prompt metadata through our backend and trusted AI providers.
1.4 App Activity And Device Data
We may process usage events needed to operate app features, such as AI job state, credit usage, quest progress, subscription status, notification device tokens, error information, request logs, and basic device or app metadata.
1.5 Support Communications
If you contact us, we may receive your email address, message content, attachments, and any information you choose to include so we can respond to your request.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not intentionally collect or store:
- Credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or full payment credentials.
- Web browsing history outside Teabie.
- Precise real-time GPS location unless a future feature clearly asks for permission.
- Contacts, messages, or unrelated photos that you do not choose to upload.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Authenticate users and keep accounts secure.
- Store and display wardrobe, outfit, profile, and try-on content.
- Generate AI-assisted cutouts, classifications, recommendations, and previews.
- Operate subscriptions, AI credits, paywalls, and entitlement checks.
- Send requested push notifications and maintain device notification preferences.
- Debug errors, prevent abuse, protect the service, and improve app quality.
- Respond to support, privacy, billing, or account deletion requests.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 Apple
We use Apple services for Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution, in-app purchases, subscriptions, subscription management, and push notification delivery. Apple processes payment and Apple ID data under Apple's own privacy policies.
4.2 RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, entitlements, receipts, and subscription webhooks. RevenueCat may process subscription status, purchase history, device information, and paywall-related events. RevenueCat does not need your wardrobe photos or try-on images to manage subscriptions.
4.3 AI Providers
We may use AI providers such as OpenAI and FASHN to analyze wardrobe photos, remove backgrounds, classify garments, generate style summaries, and create virtual try-on results. We send the minimum information reasonably needed to perform the requested feature.
4.4 Cloud Storage And Infrastructure
We may use cloud databases, object storage, CDN or signed URL services, logging, and hosting providers to store account records, uploaded assets, generated assets, and operational data.
5. Photo And Image Handling
Wardrobe photos, body photos, face references, outfit images, and generated try-on results can be sensitive. We use them to provide the features you request, such as extracting garments, generating preview images, or keeping your wardrobe available across sessions. You should only upload images that you have the right to use.
6. Data Storage And Retention
Account records and user-created content may remain stored while your account is active. Some temporary processing files may be deleted automatically after a short period. Backup, security, fraud-prevention, or legal records may persist for a limited period where necessary.
7. Data Deletion
You can delete your account in the app where supported. Account deletion removes or schedules removal of your profile and associated app data from active systems, subject to technical backup windows, payment records handled by Apple, and limited records we must keep for security, legal, or support reasons.
8. Children's Privacy
Teabie is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
9. Your Rights And Choices
- Access, edit, or delete many profile and wardrobe items in the app.
- Delete your account from the app or contact us for help.
- Manage subscriptions through your Apple account settings.
- Disable push notifications in iOS Settings.
- Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy assistance where applicable law provides those rights.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No service can guarantee perfect security, so please use a secure device and protect your account credentials.
11. International Processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, depending on our infrastructure and provider locations. We take steps intended to protect information according to this policy.
12. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Teabie changes. We will update the "Last Updated" date when changes are made.
